VELDT VOID spielen düsteren und melancholischen Hard-/Alternative Rock. Dazu kommen psychedelische und progressive Einflüsse. Stellenweise könnte man behaupten, dass es auch Melodien voller Hoffnung und Optimismus gibt, doch der Schein trügt. Die Welt von VELDT VOID besteht aus gebrochenen Herzen, verlorenen Träumen und bösen Göttern.

„The band from Karlsruhe is difficult to put in any category. If you try, you will eventually end up with the term prog doom. Big walls of guitars combined with melancholic melodies form the basis of the sound. Interesting tempo changes and often surprising hooklines keep the songs vivid. All of this works perfectly together with the lead vocals, provided by guitarrist Martin Nylund, who's range is in the higher registers and therefore is a perfect counterpart to the dark sound of the band. The audience at the album release gig in the Jubez was very enthusiastic and celebrated the band accordingly. They played the complete debut plus a few encores that didn’t make it onto the album. If you have the chance to see Veldt Void, don’t miss them!“
